About Monica

Growing up in Oklahoma City in a family of professional musicians known locally as 'The Myriads,' Monica experienced firsthand the vital role music plays in creating memorable experiences. Her father was a top-rated Elvis impersonator for countless events and her grandmother 'Meemaw' Floyd, a professional pianist/vibraphonist who graciously turned down the opportunity to tour with Gladys Knight.

In gaining a strong appreciation for music in her childhood, Monica became a regular concertgoer in her teens, eventually joining the Los Angeles 'South Central Choir' and serving as a song leader for many church events.

Monica’s current musical endeavors include deejaying in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as studying piano.
